OUR BELIEFS
We are a community who desires to live out the purpose that God has for this world. God’s intention is to gather a people from every race, social strata and station-in-life and form them into His agents of grace to transform lives and heal the brokenness. We believe Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. He is God’s response to human rebellion. Through Jesus, God began a renovation plan that started with forgiving us of our sins and changing us from the inside out. This was accomplished through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus. In these two acts, He died to release us from the justice due us (Isa. 53:4-12; Rom. 3:23-24) and rose again to overpower the effects of sin and death (1 Cor. 15:20-26). God is now imparting that same power to those who surrender their lives to Jesus. He is forming them into participatory communities (what Jesus calls His “church”- Matt. 16:18) that are to act as extensions of Jesus. We are one of these communities!! We worship Jesus Christ as the saving, living God. We promote spiritual maturity. We intend to impact this world and redeem the brokenness. We are committed to expanding His influence and calling others to Jesus Christ as their Savior and King (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). |
